Inside the Scoresheet
• BGSU tied its season best on vault (48.925) and bars (48.850)
• Katrina Mendez Abolnik tied her PR on vault (9.875) and floor (9.825)
• Megan Bingham tied her PR on vault (9.725) and set a PR on bars (9.825)
• Emily Castiglia tied her season high on beam with a 9.775
• Dahlia Solorzano-Caruso had a season high on beam with a 9.775
From the Locker Room
"I am so proud of the team for coming out so strong in balance beam in the first event. It was a bit of a roller coaster counting falls on floor and bars however, on both events, the team really picked it up and finished the lineups strong. Vault was a steady event for us, highlighted by Katrina's [Mendez Abolnik] beautiful Yurchenko 1.5 twist. There were some definite highlights throughout the meet, however we need to put all four events together to maximize our team score." – Kerrie Turner, BGSU gymnastics head coach
