• The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team, currently tied for first place in the Mid-American Conference standings, begins a busy road stretch with a pair of trips this week. Head coach Robyn Fralick and the Falcons play four of the next five games on the road, starting with a Wednesday (Feb. 8) matchup against Ohio University. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Convocation Center.

GREAT START!
• The Falcons enter the Ohio game with an overall record of 20-2, tying the best 22-game start in program history. Four previous BGSU teams also won 20 of 22 games to begin the season, and all four of those squads wound up winning at least 27 games and advancing to national postseason play (three to the NCAA Championships, one to the WNIT).
THE 700 CLUB
• Wednesday's Ohio game is the 700th MAC regular-season game in program history. The Falcons are 443-256 (.634) in the first 699 games, the second-best record among all conference schools.
FRALICK APPROACHING 100TH CONFERENCE WIN
• Robyn Fralick enters Wednesday's Ohio contest having won a total of 99 conference games as a collegiate head coach. Fralick, in her eighth year as a head coach, is 99-47 in league matchups.
• Fralick spent three seasons as head coach at Ashland, guiding the Eagles to a GLIAC record of 61-1 (and a 104-3 overall record).
• In her fifth season at BGSU, Fralick has led the Falcons to a 38-46 record in MAC regular-season play, including a 33-15 conference mark over the last two-plus years.
• Overall, she has a head-coaching record of 99-47 (.678) in conference games.
THE STARTING FIVE: ONE FACT ABOUT EACH OF BGSU'S STARTERS
• Allison Day had 27 points in Saturday's (Feb. 4) win over Miami. Day, who had 31 points in the Falcons' win over Toledo last month (Jan. 18), now has BGSU's two highest-scoring games of the season. She leads the MAC in field-goal percentage (.553).
• Elissa Brett leads the team with 18 double-digit scoring games this season to date, and has hit double figures in eight of the last nine contests. Brett has averaged 16.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game over the last five games (all wins).
• Jocelyn Tate has topped her scoring total for all of last year. She has 224 points this season to date, after scoring 209 points as a freshman. Tate has more than doubled her assist total from 2021-22, and has surpassed her steals total as well. She had 30 of each last season, and currently has 67 assists and 43 steals this winter.
• Nyla Hampton leads the MAC in total steals (65) and is second in the league in steals per game (2.95). She has moved into seventh place in BGSU history in career steals, with 207.
• Lexi Fleming is averaging 3.5 assists per contest over the last six games. She has an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.00 in that time, with 21 dimes and seven turnovers. Over the last two games, Fleming had seven assists and a total of zero turnovers.
OFF THE BENCH: A FEW MORE FUN FALCON FACTS
• Olivia Hill tied her career high with four rebounds – in just over two minutes – in BGSU's win over Western Michigan (Feb. 1). Three days later, she had a career-high six boards, including four at the offensive end, against Miami. Hill is averaging 11.1 rebounds per 40 minutes, good for second on the team.
• Payton Moore leads BG in that category, with 15.6 boards per 40 minutes. In the Miami matchup, Moore had four points and an offensive rebound in just over two minutes of action.
• Freshman Jasmine Fearne went 2-for-2 from the arc and had six points, the highest total of her young BGSU career, in the win over Miami.
A QUICK LOOK AT THE BOBCATS
• Ohio is 4-17 on the season, and the Bobcats are 2-8 in the MAC. The 'Cats opened February with a 65-55 win at Eastern Michigan, before dropping a narrow 66-55 decision at Toledo.
• Individually, Yaya Felder leads the team and ranks second in the MAC with 21.0 ppg. Six of her teammates are averaging between 5.7 and 8.9 ppg, including Caitlyn Kroll, who has 8.9 ppg and a team-leading 6.1 rpg.
• Head coach Bob Boldon's club is 0-8 at home and 4-9 on the road this season. Ohio is 0-4 at home and 2-4 on the road in MAC games. Boldon welcomed back nine letterwinners, including one starter, from a 2021-22 team that went 15-15 overall and 9-10 in MAC regular-season play.
THE SERIES
• The Falcons lead Ohio, 57-34, in the all-time series, but the Bobcats captured both of last season's meetings. The 'Cats picked up an 85-70 win in Athens (Jan. 22, 2022) and an 82-68 victory at the Stroh Center (Feb. 19, 2022). BGSU's last series win was a 69-53 victory at the Stroh on Feb. 6, 2021.
• The Falcons are 33-11 at home, 21-21 on the road and 3-2 at neutral sites vs. Ohio through the years.
DOWN THE ROAD
• Following Wednesday's Ohio game, the Falcons will return to the road again this weekend. BGSU will face Kent State on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 11), in a 2:00 p.m. start at the M.A.C. Center.
• Then, the Orange and Brown will return home to face Northern Illinois next Wednesday (Feb. 15), with tipoff set for 7:00 p.m. at the Stroh.
