Bowling Green Heads to Kalamazoo for the 2023 MAC Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -Â The Bowling Green women's golf returns to action this weekend for the 2023 MAC Championship, hosted by Western Michigan at the Kalamazoo Country Club.Â

The three-day event starts on Friday at the par-72, 6,011-yard course. The MAC Championship features 18 holes on Friday, 18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. Each day will tentatively start at 9 a.m. with tee times off hole No. 1 and hole No. 10. BGSU's tee times on Friday are set between 11:10-11:50 a.m. Saturday and Sunday will be based off performance.Â

MAC Championship
• The Falcons will be one of 10 teams competing at the 2023 MAC Championship. In addition to Bowling Green, MAC teams taking part in the tournament Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, NIU, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.

 Falcon Notes
- BGSU's fourth-place finish last year in the MAC Championship was the program's best finish in the event.
- Kayla Davis led BGSU and finished in fourth place at +7, which was the best BGSU finish by a Falcon since 2015 when Patricia Hold came in second.
- BGSU is coming off a fifth-place finish at its own Dolores Black Falcon Invitational. Davis placed third in the event, one stroke off the lead.Â
