BGSU-Oakland Baseball Wednesday Moved To Road Contest In Rochester

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Due to inclement weather and field conditions in Bowling Green, Wednesday's (May 3) BGSU baseball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies has been moved to an away game for the Falcons, to be played in Rochester, Mich. at the Oakland Baseball Field. The game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. first pitch.
Wednesday's meeting will mark the 26th meeting all-time between Bowling Green and Oakland with the Orange and Brown holding a 19-6 advantage in the series. The two teams first met in 1979 with the Falcons sweeping a May 1 doubleheader at home. The Falcons went on to win the first seven meetings between the two. The last meeting came earlier this season on April 18 in Rochester with BGSU taking a 16-4 final behind a program-record 15 walks.
