
Bowling Green Travels to Pennsylvania and Kent for Split Weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Track and Field team will split this weekend to compete at the Penn State National Open and the Doug Raymond National Qualifier. Nine athletes will travel to Kent State for the Doug Raymond National Qualifier (Jan.27) while the rest of the squad will travel to Pennsylvania for the Penn State National Open (Jan. 26-27). Luke Woolard and Ben Myers from the Men's Cross Country team, are set to compete at Kent State on Saturday, as well. The meet will be live streamed on Big Ten Network, found HERE (Friday) and HERE (Saturday). Subscription is required. Live results for the meet will be posted HERE. The Doug Raymond National Qualifier, hosted by Kent State, will have live results found HERE. Results from both meets will be posted on the Falcons track and field twitter, found HERE.

Breaking Down Bowling Green
The Falcons competed last weekend (Jan. 20) at the Bob Park Memorial Meet, hosted by Eastern Michigan University. Kiera Bonds placed first in the long jump (18' 7.25"), while also recording a PR. Morgan Patterson was close behind, placing 3rd (18' 4"). Bonds also placed second in the high jump, with a 5' 5" mark. Sabrina Imes placed third in the triple jump with a 39' 0.5" mark. Tianna Mulligan placed first in the 200m (24.95). Tianna Mulligan placed second in the 400m (57.48) while Ashley Kisor placed 4th (58.79) recording a PR along with Sydney Burrs (1:00.85, 7th). Lane Anderson placed second in the shot put (44' 4.75") while Jenna Lucas recorded a PR (44' 2") and placed 3rd. Ava Wojciechowski aslo recorded a PR with a mark of 36' 11".Mateya Haintz placed fourth in the weight throw with a 57' 6" mark.
