The hosts of the quad meet, the Golden Griffins were picked to finish fourth in the Metro Athlantic Athletic Conference preseason poll. They are led by Scott Vanderzell, who is in his 14th season at the helm. Canisius lost their opening dual meet of the season, 170-124, against MAAC opponent Marist back on Friday, October 11.
Siena (Swim Cloud Profile Link)
Another member of the MAAC, the Saints were picked to finish ninth in the conference's preseason poll. Like Bowling Green, they are led by a new head coach, Maggie Davenport, who swam four years for Siena and was hired as the program's seventh head coach in their history. Despite losing their opening dual meets to Iona and Rhode Island, Sydney Murray is fresh off winning MAAC Diver of the Week honors for her performance against Rhode Island.
Rochester (Swim Cloud Profile Link)
Traveling just over an hour west to Buffalo are the Rochester Yellow Jackets, who swim in one of Division III's most competitive conferences -- the University Athletic Association. The Yellow Jackets finished seventh at the conference meet last season in a highly-competitive field and are led by 11th-year head coach Emily Wylam.
