Lucas and Mendenhall Set To Compete In Pentathlon At Meyo Invitational

South Bend, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University Track and Field team is set to send Katherine Mendenhall and Jenna Lucas to Notre Dame, to compete in the pentathlon on Friday, February 2. The pentathlon is compiled of five-events and will begin at 11:30 a.m.The invitational will be held in the Loftus Sports Center on the University of Notre Dame campus. Breaking Down Bowling Green
Katherine Mendenhall and Jenna Lucas last competed in the Penn State National Invitational this past weekend (Jan.26-Jan.27). On the second day of competition Jenna Lucas recorded a 5'5" high jump, placing 17th. Mendenhall had a 5'5" high jump mark and recorded 10th. Mendenhall and Lucas have both captured two personal records in the 2023-24 indoor season. Lucas recorded a 1:49.44 time in the 600m at the Tom Wright Open and at the Bob Park Memorial she recorded a 44'2" mark in the shot put. Mendenhall also recorded a PR in the 600 with a 1:39.89 time and at the Bob Parks Memorial ran a 9.21 in the 60m Hurdles.
