BGSU set for GVSU Extra Weekend and the Clark Wood Invitational
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green Track and Field team will split the upcoming weekend, starting at the GVSU Extra Weekend Thursday, Apr. 25 in Allendale, Michigan. The Falcons will conclude the weekend at the Clark Wood Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville (Friday, Apr. 26 - Thursday, Apr. 27). The Clark Wood Invitational will be hosted at the Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park and Extra Weekend will be located at the GVSU Outdoor Track and Field Stadium.Β

Falcons Last Tme OutΒ
The Falcons competed last weekend at the Jim Green Invitational (Friday, Apr. 19 - Saturday, Apr. 20) hosted by the University of Kentucky.Β
Top finishers from the weekend came fromΒ Katerina ShubleΒ in the 800m, finishing in second with a 2:14.71 time.Β Kristin GroppeΒ finished third in the steeplechase at 11:08.24 and set a personal record in that event.Β Bianca StaplesΒ placed sixth in the triple jump (12.21m).Β Reagan EmbertonΒ finished eighth in the discus throw (43.88m) andΒ Mateya HaintzΒ finished third in the hammer throw invitational with a 58.64m mark.Β
