Meet Preview: Track & Field Returns to Action at Falcon Early Bird Open

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The BGSU track & field squad will ring in the new year at home, as they will host the Falcon Early Bird Open on Friday, January 10. Field events will begin at 4 p.m. while running events start at 5 p.m. Ohio and Dayton will be competing against the Falcons at the meet.

The program is encouraging spectators to bring a monetary donation to the Falcon Food Pantry in place of an admission fee. Live results and a livestream feed will also be available.

Bowling Green last competed at their own Tom Wright Open on December 7 with Ball State and Cleveland State. Falcon competitors came away with 10 victories in the 11 events they participated in and earned multiple top-10 marks iin program history. Ohio had four runners compete at Boston U.'s Sharon Coylear-Danville Season Opener on the same day, while Dayton was represented at Findlay and Wittenberg's openers throughout the same weekend.
