Six Falcons Earn Academic All-MAC Honors For BGVB

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Monday morning (Dec. 15) the 2025 Volleyball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 78 student-athletes were named across the conference with Bowling Green totaling six. Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH) and Western Michigan led the way in the MAC with eight each, followed closely by Ball State, Buffalo, Central Michigan and Ohio, each with seven. The Falcons were joined by Northern Illinois in the MAC with six honorees. Bowling Green has now had at least six student-athletes named Academic All-MAC in each of the last 10 seasons.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.

As a team, the Falcons are coming off a 17-15 campaign, including a 10-8 MAC record during the first season under head coach Alex DelPiombo. The Falcons were paced by First Team All-MAC honorees Jessica Andrews and Avery Hobson. The Orange and Brown made the MAC Tournament, registering a win in the MAC Quarterfinals over Ohio.
