BGSU Men’s Golf Heads to Tennessee for Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Men's Golf Team will return to action in South Pittsburg, Tenn., for their second Miami (OH) hosted tournament of the 2024-25 season. The three-day event will be held at the Sweetens Cove Golf Club.

Senior's Zander Gibson and Darin Hudak finished tied for 2nd in par 5's with a 4.33 stroke average
Gibson led all golfers with 16 birdies
Gibson tied for the third lowest round with a 68(-4) in the first round
Senior Luke Evans recorded an eagle on hole No. 5 in the first round

Notables

The Falcons will be the second Matchplay tournament that the Falcons will be participating in this spring season
BGSU will be the four seed in the tournament and will face Murray State in the first round
This will mark the third consecutive season that the Orange and Brown will be competing in at least two events hosted by Miami (OH)
Three MAC schools will be competing at the event: Bowling Green State University, Miami (OH), Ohio
