Falcons, Bulls Scheduled For 7 p.m. Tip Inside The Stroh Center
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will return home to the Stroh Center Tuesday night (Jan. 27) to host the Buffalo Bulls for a 7 p.m. tip. The Falcons and Bulls enter with identical 13-7 records on the season, but BGSU holds a 4-4 MAC standing while UB is 3-5 after falling short in each of their last five contests. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+ while Todd Walker will have the radio call on WFRO Eagle 99.Â
Opening Tip
Bowling Green and Buffalo will be meeting for the 51st time in program history with the series tied all-time at 25-25. The Falcons hold the advantage in the series when hosting the Bulls with a record of 16-9. BGSU has won the last three meetings against Buffalo, including two during the stretch at home in the Stroh Center. The game will mark the lone regular season meeting this year between Bowling Green and Buffalo. Javontae Campbell enters the weekend as the leading scorer in the MAC against MAC opponents, averaging 23.6 points per game, two more than the next player in the conference.

Parking Changes For 2025-26
Additional Limited Mobility Parking Now Available for All Home Basketball Games
To better accommodate fans and guests with limited mobility, additional designated parking spaces will now be available for all upcoming home Men's and Women's Basketball games at the Stroh Center.
Location:
Additional parking will be located on the north side of Lot 24, beginning with the first row of spaces adjacent to the grass area and including the next two rows directly behind it.Â
Fan Access:
Guests utilizing these spaces should enter through the Student Entrance, located on the north side of Lot 24. From there, fans may use the service elevator to access the main arena and seating areas.
Please Note:
Limited mobility parking will remain paid parking and will be clearly marked with signage indicating the designated spaces and new location.
Scouting The Bulls
Buffalo got off to a hot start on the season, beginning with a 13-2 record, including a 3-0 MAC start. However, Buffalo has dropped each of their last five games with their last win coming on Jan. 3 with an 85-72 win over Ball State. The other MAC wins for Buffalo came on Dec. 20 against Western Michigan, 88-71, and Dec. 31 against Northern Illinois, 81-67. As for non-conference, they fell to St. Bonaventure, 77-69, on Dec. 6 and East Carolina, 73-70, on Dec. 14 for their only two losses during the 13-2 start.Â
BGSU vs. Buffalo, All-Time
Bowling Green and Buffalo will be meeting for the 51st time in program history with the all-time series knotted up, 25-25. The Falcons have won each of the last three meetings, giving Coach Simon a 3-0 record against Buffalo as a head coach. Of those three, two have come at home inside the Stroh Center. Â In the most recent meeting, Javontae Campbell tallied 20 points for the Falcons in addition to three rebounds and three assists. He also recorded two steals in both meetings last year.Â
Campbell Doing It All
Javontae Campbell has become known for his presence on defense, logging a nation-leading 3.4 steals per game. He's currently on pace to break both the BGSU and MAC single-season steals records. However, Campbell has also become one of the elite overall players in the MAC. During conference play, Campbell is averaging 23.6 points per game, leading the MAC by a full two points. Campbell has also led BGSU in assists in all eight MAC games, averaging 6.6, which ranks third in the conference against MAC opponents.
Glover Gaining Ground
Troy Glover II has tallied seven or more rebounds in five straight games for the Falcons and has swatted at least one block in six straight. During the last five games, Glover is averaging 8.6 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game for the Orange and Brown. For MAC play, the stretch has placed him in a tie for 10th in the conference for rebounds per game, averaging 6.8 against MAC opponents. As for blocks, he's up to fourth with an average of 1.5, sitting four behind the MAC lead in terms of total blocks.Â
Creating Chaos
Bowling Green has established themselves as one of the best teams in the nation in terms of creating turnovers on the defensive end. As a team, the Falcons are averaging a nation-leading 11.3 steals per game, including 11 games with double-digit steals. Additionally, the Orange and Brown currently sit fourth in the nation for turnovers forced per game with a mark of 17.1. Through 20 games, Bowling Green has forced their opponent into double-digit turnovers 17 times, including 13 games with 15+ and three games with 30+. Both marks have culminated in BGSU ranking seventh in the nation for turnover margin with a +5.4 mark.Â
The 70-Point Threshold
The Falcons' defense has played a huge role in the team's wins this year, holding opponents to 62.7 points per game and 39.1-percent from the field in games the team has won. The numbers have translated to a 70-point threshold on the defensive end.
