FROM THE LOCKER ROOM
"What another big step in the right direction for BG Gymnastics. We had a little more unique of a situation for this meet with judges not being able to make the competition, but we handled it with confidence. Season highs all around with some stand-out routines. Maddy Coburn and Niya Brown winning vault today was so fun to witness. As seniors, they are continuing to step up to be amazing leaders for this team. Bars started the meet off on a strong note. Our beam team is looking awesome. The confidence to just get up and do what we do in practice is something to continue to walk throughout the rest of the season. Floor we just had so much fun with our performances followed by a vault line up that absolutely crushed it. Taylor Wurtz stepped into line up today to compete her yurchenko 1/1 and it was exactly what we needed to keep pushing this team forward. We now go into a double meet weekend with three wins and a season high team score to build off of." -Brittney Emmons, BGSU gymnastics head coach
