Kylee Cubbison and Rachael Hoover Earn First Team Outdoor All-MAC Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Two Falcons earned Outdoor All-MAC First Team honors this week for their performances at the MAC Championships in Muncie.
The first honoree, Kylee Cubbison, claimed her second consecutive and third career 1,500-meter MAC Championship last Saturday. The senior trailed entering the final lap but rushed past the field to finish in 4:20.85. It was her third Outdoor All-MAC First Team selection.
The second honoree, Rachael Hoover, won the first 800-meter championship for Bowling Green since 1981. After posting the top qualifying time, the sophomore finished in 2:08.12. It marked Hoover's first individual MAC title and her first Outdoor All-MAC First Team selection.
Both athletes will travel to Lexington next week for the NCAA East Regional, where they will compete in their respective events Thursday, May 28.
