2009: Did not play after undergoing surgery.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner for First Colonial High School...named first team All-State, All-Region, All-District and All-Tidewater as a senior, finishing with a .529 average with four homers and 35 RBI...on the mound, was 3-0 with a 0.94 ERA, while also earning All-Tidewater Player of the Year and Beach District Player of the Year honors...named team MVP twice...was drafted in the 43rd round by the Minnesota Twins, following his senior year...his team was crowned district champions all four years he played...in his senior year, his team finished with a final record of 24-4 as they were state semi-finalists for the second year in a row...had a .380 average his junior season with one homer and 32 RBI...also was a two-year letterwinner in football where he was an All-District quarterback three-straight seasons.
