2009: Named a captain for the 2009 season... was red-shirted after undergoing surgery.

2008: Was used as a starter and a reliever...made 11 starts and had eight relief appearances...was third on the team in ERA (5.03) and tied for second in appearances and starts...tied for the team lead in saves (3) and opponents batting average (.262), which was ninth in the MAC...combined with Charles Wooten on only shutout of the season - an 8-0 victory over Fairfield on their spring trip to Florida...went five innings allowing four hits with a season-high six strikeouts...went five or more innings in eight of his starts...longest stint was a 7.0 innings start against Kent (4/20) in which the Falcons lost, 6-1...started and went 6.2 innings in the elimination game against Ohio in the MAC Tournament getting a no decision...earned saves against Ball State (4/12), Buffalo (5/9) and Ohio (5/21) in their win over the Bobcats in the first game of the MAC Tournament...all eight of his starts in league play came in the weekend series finale...has thrown a total of 46.2 innings in MAC games.

2007: Played in seven games, including three starts (two in left field - one in center field) before suffering and ankle injury that cut his season short...made five appearances on the mound, including two starts...tossed five innings of relief versus Northeastern (3/5), allowing one run and striking out seven in a 3-2 loss...allowed just two runs in his first start of the season at Xavier (3/13) in 4.1 innings of work...had his only hit and pitched one inning of relief against Valparaiso (3/13).

2006: Saw action in 31 games, including 11 starts (six in left field - four in center field - one in right field)...also pitched 14.2 innings in 10 appearances (one start)... recorded four multi-hit games...picked up two hits, two runs scored and three RBI in a win over Findlay (4/3)...allowed just one run in his first 4.2 innings pitched as a Falcon...allowed one or fewer earned runs in eight of his 10 outings...made several acrobatic catches in the outfield.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner for Eastwood High School...earned first-team all-conference honors three years in a row...coached by Don Schmeltz...also helped lead the Eagles to four conference championships in football and basketball.
