2009: Appeared in a team-high 23 games, starting two…finished the season with a 4-2 records and five saves, fifth most in the conference and a new career-high…in his first career start lasting two innings, he allowed no runs and struck out three against Findlay (3/24)… did not allow any runs in two innings in his second start at Central Michigan (4/4)…allowed no runs in four consecutive outings from 4/24 to 4/4 spanning over 5.1 innings…three of his five saves were made from 4/25 on…pitched three innings of scoreless relief against Buffalo (5/8), allowing only one hit and striking out four…struck out a career-high six batters twice in games against Kent State (4/18) and Akron (5/14)…sported a perfect 4-0 record in his ten home appearances…racked up 17 strikeouts in his last six games (18.2 innings) after having 19 in his first 17 games (28.1 innings)…had 28 strikeouts in 28.2 innings of work in league play with a 3-1 record, three saves and a 4.71 ERA.
