- Prior to that, he was an assistant coach with the 49ers for five years, and also has served as head coach of New Zealand's U19 National Team
- Has an older brother, Tyler, who plays basketball at Charlotte
- Was selected to the U16 North Queensland team as a 14-year-old
- Helped that team to a third-place finish at the 2017 national tournament
- Also played juniors for the Cairns Dolphins
- Has also played for SC76ers and Lady Attack Elite
- Favorite athlete is Steph Curry
