- Helped the Huskies to a state title in his lone year of high-school soccer, under coaches Jim Konrad and Steve Goletz
- In addition to the All-America honors, was the United Soccer Coaches Illinois Player of the Year, and was also that organization's Region Player of the Year and an All-Region selection.
- Had 30 goals and 11 assists as the Huskies went 25-0-4 and won the state championship in his senior season
- Was named the IHSSCA Illinois Player of the Year, earning All-State and All-Sectional honors as well
- Also was named the Chicagoland Soccer Player of the Year, the Naperville Sun P-O-Y
