Andrew Rynd returns to Bowling Green as the Falcons' Director of Volleyball Operations after spending the 2014 season as the volunteer assistant coach. Rynd recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Bowling Green State University.

As the Director of Operations, Rynd is in charge of all the logistics for the team, ranging from organizing and coordinating team travel to fundraising and directing the teams annual summer camps. Prior to becoming the Director of Volleyball Operations, Rynd was a practice player during the spring of 2014, then in the fall was asked to be the teams’ volunteer assistant coach. As the volunteer coach he assisted in video breakdown and exchange, statistical analysis, and prepared all of the technology aspects for the program.

Rynd began playing volleyball at an early age and continued through his senior year of high school as an outside hitter, playing varsity as a freshman at Cochranton High School. He also played on the BGSU men’s club volleyball team, where he served as an outside hitter at the 2012 NCVF Tournament in Kansas City.
