2005: Named to the All-MAC Freshman squad ... led team with 309 points and 250 kills on the season...played in 100 games... hit over .300 in eight of ten matches, including five consecutive from Oct. 8-Nov.3 ... totaled 22 kills against Miami (11/3/05) ... rejected 94 opponents[apos] attacks, including 11 solo blocks on the season ... smashed 14 kills at a .440 clip in a first round win over Kent State in the MAC tournament ... recorded 42 digs on the season ... earned MAC East Player of the Week Honors on Oct. 17th.
2004 Red-shirted the 2004 season...earned the Most Improved Player of the Year award for the Spring.
High School: Earned three letters at Bucyrus High School...in her senior season the 6-0 hitter posted 275 kills and 155 blocks in 24 matches...helped the Bucyrus team to an 11-13 record this season en route to being named to the first-team All-NCC, as well as being named team[apos]s best offensive player...she also participated in two all-star matches and was named Honorable Mention District IV.
Personal: Kendra Ann Halm was born February 12, 1986...daughter of Michael Halm and Cheryl Halm ... also earned four letters in basketball and three in softball ... ranked in the top ten in the OHSAA Girls Basketball records for blocked shots in a career ... is majoring in criminal justice ... played club volleyball for Central Ohio.
