Levi Gazarek begins his first season on the BGSU coaching staff as offensive quality control after distinguishing himself as a Falcon in both football and baseball.
A North Baltimore, Ohio, native, Gazarek played tight end for the Falcons from 2020 to 2024. He served as a team captain and appeared in every game during his senior season, starting nine and tallying eight receptions for 62 yards and two touchdowns, including scores at Toledo and Central Michigan. Scholarly strong, he earned Academic All-MAC honors each season from 2021 to 2024.
In addition to his football career, Gazarek was a right-handed pitcher for the baseball team. In 2022, he appeared in 16 games with five starts, tossing 42.1 innings, striking out 22, and recording multiple shutout outings. He earned Academic All-MAC recognition on the diamond as well.
Gazarek holds a master’s degree in business administration and brings firsthand experience with the program to his inaugural coaching role.
