Precious Jackson joined Bowling Green State University’s Slater Family Ice Arena as a Graduate Assistant in January 2022.
Prior to accepting the assistantship Jackson completed her Bachelor's of Education at Bowling Green State University. While earning her degree, she served as a student employee at the Slater Family Ice Arena for 5 years. She worked as a Learn to Skate Instructor, Public Skate Guard and Pro Shop attendant before moving up to MIC during her final two years.
Additionally, Jackson took on leadership roles in both the Spirit Skater and Club Figure Skating club sport organizations throughout her undergraduate studies. Jackson’s leadership roles included President, Vice President, and Safety Officer of the organizations throughout her time.
During the 2022 season Jackson Interned with the Stadium Managers Association traveling to Florida to help organize their annual Seminar. Jackson looks forward to learning and gaining vital career experience through her graduate assistantship.
