Sean Rafferty joined Bowling Green State University’s Slater Family Ice Arena as a graduate assistant in January 2024.
As a graduate assistant, Sean’s responsibilities include student programming, scheduling/marketing birthday parties, assisting with external rentals and facility/game management.
Prior to accepting the assistantship, Rafferty completed his bachelor of arts in criminal justice at Arcadia University. While earning his degree, he was on the men’s basketball team for four years at Arcadia. He helped lead the team to a championship for the 2022-23 season.
During the 2023-24 season, Rafferty attended the NCAA’s Career in Sports Forum and the Emerging Leader’s Summit in Indianapolis. He looks forward to learning and gaining career experience through his graduate assistantship.
