Throughout the summer, we'll be releasing our list of the Top 10 Moments of the 2009-10 athletic year at BGSU. The list was compiled and voted on by members of the Athletics Department administration and the Athletic Communications office. We'll release the list one at a time until announcing the No. 1 moment of the year on Aug. 2. Today, we look back at our No. 3 moment of the year.
Chris Bergeron Named Head Coach of Bowling Green Hockey
In a new era of BGSU hockey that includes the Bring Back The Glory fundraising campaign, nothing symbolized the commitment to excellence quite like the hiring of Chris Bergeron as the coach of the Falcons. Bergeron's passion and energy were apparent from the start and his pedigree as a player and assistant coach at CCHA rival Miami (Ohio) gives him a strong foundation for getting BGSU hockey back to competing for championships.
