Jeanette Pettigrew Wins 60, Breaks School Record In 200 At MAC Championships
Bowling Green senior sprinter Jeanette Pettigrew closed out her collegiate indoor track and field career with one of the more dominating performances in program history, winning the MAC Championship in the 60, breaking the school record to place second in the 200 and placing fourth in the long jump in just her second time competing in the event in college. On the first day of the meet, she qualified for the finals with the fourth-fastest time in the 60 and the third-fastest time in the 200. But she left her best for day two of the competition. Pettigrew ran the 60 in 7.53 seconds to win by .01 seconds and then set a school record less than an hour later by running 24.18 seconds in the 200 to end second. For a complete recap, CLICK HERE.
