The Falcons drew first blood on a Michelle Lisy goal, but BG could not find the back of the net again. BG dominated the first few minutes of the match, and the team's efforts were rewarded when Lisy headed home an Ashley Enser cross at the 11:59 mark. Leslie Hepfinger also drew an assist on the play.

The RedHawks equalized seven minutes later, then took the lead for good at the 53-minute mark. An insurance goal with three minutes left provided the final margin.

MU outshot the Falcons, 24-6, and BG had only two shot attempts in the second half. Erika Flanders made six saves in net for the Falcons.
