Melissa Lewis and Caty Rommeck each went over the 20-kill mark, and the Falcons needed every single kill in a narrow, five-game road win (14-16, 7-15, 15-7, 15-8, 16-14) over the Zips. The win stretched the Falcons' current victory streak to eight matches, the team's longest since the 1992 season.
Lewis led the Brown and Orange with 26 kills, while Rommeck's season-best 22 kills were part of a night which saw her hit a match-high .425 (22-5-40) with a team-best six blocks.
Lori Kemerer (14) and Amber Vorst (10) also hit double digits in kills, and Kemerer had a team-high 21 digs in the match. Kate Yeo had 14 digs, while Lewis and Kris Pesorda had 13 each and Vorst added 12.
Heather Greig dished out a career-high 68 assists in the win.
