A goal by Beth Culver in the second minute of the contest proved to be all the scoring the host Bulldogs would need in a 1-0 win. BGSU held tough on the road against a team which advanced to the "Sweet 16" of last year's NCAA Tournament. The Falcons, outshot by a 19-5 margin, trailed in the shots-on-goal department, 6-2. Erika Flanders made five saves in net for the Brown and Orange.
