The Falcons posted a win in the team's lone preseason scrimmage, besting the visiting Michigan Hawks, a club team. Freshman Jill Conover scored the lone goal of the first half. After a Hawks tally early in the second half, sophomore Desiree Erb scored a pair of goals just a few minutes apart. The Hawks scored to cut the margin to one goal, but could not register the equalizer. Freshman goalkeeper Erika Flanders went all the way in net for the Falcons.
