Men's Cross Country Places Fourth At Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team finished fourth among 15 teams at the 17th Annual Greensboro Cross Country Invitational Saturday afternoon (Sept. 30). The Brown and Orange had a team total of 92 points to place behind South Florida, Tennessee and Iowa State in the Division I race.
Individually, junior Tom Kutter was sixth overall, with a time of 25:39. Freshman Paul Niedzwiecki crossed the line 14 seconds later to finish 10th among the 117 runners.
Also competing for the Falcons: Rob Glatz (26:15, 18th), Austin Chapin (26:22, 21st), Kreg Hatfield (27:06, 37th), Chad Kunkle (27:11, 38th), Justin Perez (27:22, 43rd), Steve Blasko (28:13, 59th) and Dave Larson (31:22, 88th).
The Falcons return to action with a Friday (Oct. 6) race. BGSU will head to Indiana to compete in the Notre Dame Invitational.
