Hockey Adds Single Game In December

The Bowling Green State University hockey team will be playing a single game at Niagara University on Saturday, December 30, 2000. The contest will be held at the Dwyer Arena with face-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
The Purple Eagles, an NCAA tournament participant this past spring, had their 1999-2000 season end with a 4-1 loss to North Dakota in the NCAA quarterfinals at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis. Niagara finished its fourth season of intercollegiate hockey with a record of 30-8-4.
Niagara is coached by Blaise MacDonald (RIT, '85), who previously served as the associate head coach at Boston University before starting Niagara's program.
