Women's Cross Country Picked 10th In MAC Preseason Poll

The Bowling Green State University women's cross country team under the direction of second-year head coach Cami Wells was picked 10th (of 13 schools) in the 2000 Mid-American Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Falcons finished 10th at the 1999 conference championship. Toledo received six first-place votes and 142 points, to edge out Ball State (2 first-place votes) and 127. Akron was rated third, and was followed by Kent State, Eastern Michigan, Miami, Central Michigan, Ohio and Western Michigan. Following the Falcons were Buffalo, Northern Illinois and Marshall.
Bowling Green begins the season at the Central Michigan Invitational on Friday, Sept. 1.
