Hockey To Have Intersquad Game On Sept. 29

The Bowling Green State University hockey squad, under the direction of seventh-year head coach Buddy Powers, will have its annual Brown-White intersquad game on Friday, Sept. 29 at the BGSU Ice Arena. The contest is scheduled to last 90 minutes from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Last year, the Falcons came within one win of reaching the CCHA Championships, this season Falcon bench boss Buddy Powers hopes the "team concept" will help carry BG up the CCHA ladder.

Bowling Green begins the season with a home exhibition contest against York (Ontario) University on Friday, Oct. 6. The Falcons play a non-conference road series the following weekend at Alabama-Huntsville before returning to the BGSU Ice Arena for four straight games. BG entertains Michigan on Friday, Oct. 20 and Sunday, Oct. 22, and the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks on Oct. 27-28. Game time for all BG home games this year is 7:05 p.m.
