On the game-
"I thought that the key to the game for us was not getting blown out in the first half. I thought that our team showed some real character and showed some real guts. I thought Keith McLeod was tremendous. I thought that Len Matela came in and gave us everything he had. It was a pretty good night. It was a fun night to be a Falcon basketball coach."
On the fans-
" What a great crowd, what great student support, and what great community support. It was just a fun night. When McLeod made his shot, the mayhem across the way was unbelievable and I am not just talking about the students, I am talking about the upper tier. It was awesome."
On taking the big shot-
"I had my mind made up after I came off the ball screen that I was taking the shot. It was do or die. I had a lot of confidence that the shot was going to go in."
On beating Michigan-
"This is a really big win. We have been preparing for Michigan for awhile."
"The feeling is great. You have a Big Ten team coming in here and we beat them. It's the greatest feeling in the world right now."
On the Fans- "The atmosphere was crazy. When we got here at 6 p.m. we were told that there was a line out the door. The crowd helped us a lot."
On Keith McLeod's shot-
"I had more confidence then Keith did that the shot was going to go in. There is nobody else on the court that I would like to take that shot. He has been a clutch performer all of his years here."
On Fans-
"The fans were great. They have been talking about it all week. Tickets have been sold out way out in advance and I can't remember the last time that happened."
"All of the students were wearing orange and the football team under the basket going crazy. Everyone was yelling, screaming, and going crazy."

"Very disappointing loss for our ball club and I want to congratulate BG and Dan Dakich and their program, it is certainly a difficult place to play, this is my first time here, and I hope not to return."
"Outstanding environment for college basketball and their students were outstanding and they did a magnificent job for their team."
"Certainly that shot by McLeod, he is a very tough kid to defend and that last shot that he made was in and out and I thought it was out."

"This game was nick and tuck and certainly one or two plays would make the difference in the game and BG made the plays."
"Give credit to their defense and the pressure they put on and this environment, I mean it is a tough place to play and that goes w/o saying."
"They deserved to do that (students rush the floor) I thought their fans really did a fabulous job of helping their team win, no question about it."
