FALCONS HAVE WON FOUR OUT OF FIVE
The Falcons finished a stretch which saw them win four of five games in 10 days to remain tied with Kent State with the best overall record in the MAC at 18-5. BGSU completes a three-game homestand against Eastern Michigan. The Falcons are coming off an 83-60 win over Marshall and an 80-64 triumph over Ohio. Six of the Falcons' eight conference victories have come by 12 points or more.
FALCONS AT ANDERSON ARENA
Since the 1998-99 season, the Falcons have a 44-7 record in "The House That Roars", Anderson Arena, including a 27-5 ledger against the MAC. In MAC play, BGSU is outscoring opponents at home76.8 to 62.1. the Falcons also have won 10 games or more at home for the fourth straight season.
FIGHTING FOR POSITION
The Falcons are tied with Ohio for second place in the MAC's East Division and with Ball State overall in the league with 8-4 records. The top three teams overall in the league earn first-round byes and advance to Cleveland for next month's MAC tournament championship. Since the 1998-99 season, BGSU has the league's second best winning percentage in MAC games (44-22, 66.7%).
THE FALCONS AND THE EAGLES
The Falcons hold a 37-33 edge in a series which began in the 1915-16 season. BGSU has won the last three meetings, including a 71-45 decision in Ypsilanti last year. The Falcons have won the last six meetings in Anderson Arena with Eastern last winning in BG during the 1992-93 season.
FALCONS TAKE THEIR BEST SHOT AT OHIO, MARSHALL
The Falcons shot 59.6 percent in defeating Ohio, 80-64, then followed that up with a 61.2 percent effort against Marshall. In the two games, BGSU shot 60.4 from the field (58/96), 47.6 from three point range (10/21), and 88.1 from the line (37/42).
NCAA LEADERS
Senior Keith McLeod is sixth in the nation in scoring (23.0) and Brandon Pardon is ninth in the country in assists (6.7). The Falcons are ninth in the country in three-point field goal percentage (41.1), and fifth in field goal percentage (49.0).
KLASSEN SETS SCHOOL RECORD
Senior Brent Klassen established a school record by making all eight of his field goal attempts against Marshall. Teammate Len Matela previously held the record when he made 12 of 13 field goal attempts (92.3) against Toledo in 2000.
