Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's basketball coach Dan Dakich has announced the signing of Steven Wright , a 6-3 guard/forward from Dayton's Colonel White High School, to a national letter of intent to attend BGSU. Wright averaged 19.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists as a senior. He shot 77.1% from the free throw line and 44.3% from three-point range.
He was the Player of the Year in Dayton and was an All-Ohio and All-Area selection.
"He is an extremely versatile basketball player that we are excited to have," said Dakich. "He helps give us a recruiting class that is athletic and has excellent skills."
Wright joins Ron Lewis, a 6-4 wing, and Raheem Moss, a 6-3 All-Ohio shooting guard, who signed with the Falcons in November before they led Columbus Brookhaven to the Ohio Division I state championship in March.
