Before tonight, the last time BGSU surpased the century mark was back on November 24, 2001, when the Falcons defeated Defiance 107-80.
New Player Career Marks
Sophomore Ron Lewis established a new career-high in points with 34, as well as a new personal-best in field goals made with nine. His previous best was last season versus Central Michigan when he scored 30 points, as well as seven field goals made.
Junior Josh Almanson had 18 points on seven-of-seven shooting and just missed the Arena record for most field goals made without a miss (8 by Brent Klassen vs. Marshall in 2002).
Senior Jabari Maddox tied his career-high in assists with 10 in only 23 minutes.
Not only did junior John Reimold have 22 points on eight of 16 shooting, he also posted a career-best six assists.
Rookie Debuts
The freshman class of Matt Lefeld, Chris Hobson, Austin Montgomery and Isaac Rosefelt combined for 21 points in their first career game game in the Brown & Orange.
Lefeld connected on all four of his shots registering eight points in 17 minutes.
In only five minutes of action, Hobson tallied seven points on two-for-three shooting, also connecting on three of his four free throw attempts.
Montgomery registered six points, three rebounds and one assist.
Rosefelt chipped in with two rebounds in the final three minutes of the game.
Junior Cory Eyink had eight points and eight rebounds.
