Bowling Green, Ohio - With the Falcons 90-81 victory over Ball State Monday night, the Falcons have now advanced to the quarterfinals of the First Energy Mid-American Conference Basketball Tournament at Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. BGSU will play Central Michigan, the tournament's number one seed, on Thursday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m.
The BGSU Alumni Association will be sponsoring a pre-game event at Gund Arena this Thursday, March 13 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. We will be celebrating in the Annex on the 2nd floor with food, fun, and more! Guests should enter at the Arcade Main Entrance and let the concierge know they are attending the BGSU Falcons Pre-Game Celebration! The cost is $5 per person - kids 12 and under free. Cash bar. There will be giveaways and a university update. Come join the festivities as we cheer on the Falcons Men's Hoops team! You must have a Session 2 game ticket for early access (prior to 6:00 p.m. when the doors officially open) to Gund Arena to attend the alumni event! We'll see you there!
BGSU Alumni can order tickets in the Bowling Green section for $28 dollars through the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office located in the front lobby of Anderson Arena. Fans can also charge by phone by calling 1-877-BGSU TICKET. The Ticket Office will be open from 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9:00- noon on Thursday. A ticket is good for the evening session on Thursday which also includes Western Michigan's game against Northern Illinois at 9:00 p.m.
The BGSU Athletic Ticket Office will also be selling tickets in the BG section the night of the game inside Gund Arena. Any alumni planning on purchasing their tournament tickets the night of the game can stop by the BGSU table inside of Gund Arena (Arena arcade at the corner of Huron and East 6th ) to purchase tickets in the BGSU section.
