Falcons Set To Compete In All-Ohio Championships

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University track team travels to Columbus, Ohio where they will be competing for Ohio's best. The Falcons will join 12 Ohio collegiate squads to the annual event at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The meet is set for this weekend (April 11-12).

Four MAC schools (Akron, Ohio, Kent State and Toledo) will join the Falcons. The rest of the field contains Ohio State, Dayton, Wright State, Central State, Findlay, Tiffin, Ashland and Cincinnati.

Last weekend the Falcons had five first-place finishes at the McDonald's Invitational on their way to a third place finish. Amber Culp, who won the steeplechase with a time of 11:11.24, led the Falcons. The BG relay teams also had an impressive showing placing first in both the 4 x 100 (47.91) and 4 x 400 (3:53.63).

Following the meet in Columbus, the Falcons will travel Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the Drake Relays.
