NOTES
QUOTING HEAD COACH ANDY RICHARDS
"It was a bad day and a below-par performance, particularly in light of the improvements we had made over the last three or four games."
"It was disappointing in that we didn't make the alterations within the game that we should have recognized, and we all take the blame for that; coaches as well as players."
"The situation wasn't helped by conceding an early goal off a piece of set play that we talked about, knew about, and should have dealt with handily."
"At halftime, we talked about the adjustments we had to make, and in the second half, I felt we did a better job of putting some pressure on them and creating opportunities. Unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of those opportunities, and it was a case of too little, too late."
"We have an opportunity to put it right, and we have an opportunity to put it right in the MAC (with Friday's match vs. Akron). I have the utmost confidence that the players will perform to the best of their abilities, as we know they can."
