The Falcons saw its three-game winning streak snapped.
Senior Kevin Netter scored a season-high 23 points and has back-to-back 20-point efforts for fthe first time this season. He had 20 points against CMU.
Netter also had a season-high five blocked shots which ties his career-high (vs. UNC-Wilmington in 2001). He has had nine blocked shots in the last two games.
Netter now was 948 career points and needs 52 to become the 33rd player in school history to eclipse the 1,000-point barrier.
Sophomore Ron Lewis had 23 points and made all eight of his free throw attempts. He is shooting 82.8 from the free throw line and leads the MAC with 134 free throw attempts.
Junior John Reimold had 10 points and set a career-high for the third straight game with six assists. He had four assists against Akron and five against Central Michigan.
Freshman Austin Montgomery was outstanding in the clutch nailing a three-pointer with 4:34 to go and two free throws with 1:50 to tie the score. He also had a key defensive rebound.
Sophomore Germain Fitch had a season-high four points, four rebounds and three assists.
The Falcons had 17 assists and 13 turnovers giving them back-to-back games with more assists than turnovers for the first time this season.
The 83 points is the most scored by a Falcon opponent this season.
The Falcons' seven blocked shots matches their season-high (Findlay).
Three of the last four meetings with Toledo in Savage Hall have been decided by four points or less (66-62 in 2002 and 76-73 in 2001).
