Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the West Division according to the annual preseason poll released today by the MAC News Media Association.
BGSU returns eight lettermen and three starters from a squad which made its fifth straight trip to the MAC Tournament in Cleveland. BGSU opens the season against back-to-back 2004 NCAA Tournament participants. BGSU will play November 20 in Chicago against DePaul, while the Falcons' first home game will be November 24 against Illinois-Chicago at 7 p.m.

Home Games Picked For MAC TV Package
Three BGSU home MAC games have been picked up as part of the yearly MAC Men's Basketball television package shown on Fox Sports, Ohio. All three home games will start at different times than previously published in media guides, schedule cards, schedule posters and season ticket information.
BGSU will host Toledo, January 22, in a rare Saturday night home game which begins at 6 p.m. The Falcons also will take on Ohio on Monday, February 7 at 8 p.m. and the Miami Redhawks' first visit to Anderson Arena in two seasons on Sunday, February 27 will tip-off at noon.
