Hanover, N.H. -
BGSU Coach Scott Paluch
On Jordan Sigalet's performance...
"He's done this a lot for us. Especially in the first period when our team was not sharp and Dartmouth was playing so well. We needed Jordan to play well and he gave us an opportunity to kind of remember how to play hockey after the (Christmas) break.
"A lot of times he doesn't need to make the quantity of shots he had tonight, but that's what makes him so special. He's focused in games where he needs to make 20 saves and three key ones, or tonight when he had to make 50 saves and give us an opportunity. He gives us a chance every night."
What got the team back into the game...
"We got our feet moving. We kind of got ourselves back to finishing checks and creating some contact. Dartmouth was so much quicker than us in the first period. We just needed some time to weather that storm and Jordan gave us that chance. I think we played better in the second and third periods."
BGSU goaltender Jordan Sigalet...
"After the first period the guys really turned it on and played hard. It took us the first period to get our legs back and start finishing checks and moving our feet. After we started doing that we made things happen."
On returning to action after Christmas Break...
"I felt great. I was just happy to be back on the ice and playing and it was good to get a lot of shots early and get into the game. I felt good about the whole game. I felt really focused. I feel like I could have stopped a few more in the shootout, but that's the way it went."
