East Lansing, Mich. -
BGSU Coach Scott Paluch...
"Jordan Sigalet was fantastic in the game, especially in the first period. Tonight, you talk about running the gamut, you're looking at shorthanded breakaways, penalty shots, some good power play chances, and there was a tough hop with about 20 seconds left that I'm not quite sure how that stayed out. Jordan gives us an opportunity and our team hung in there."
"We made enough of the plays down the stretch, whether we were getting pucks out or whatever, to win the game that Jordan gave us an opportunity. We were opportunistic enough on the power play to get the two goals. I really liked the way we were able to kill off the 5-on-3 down the stretch to get the victory."
On Jonathan Sigalet....
"He's one of those guys that moves effortlessly. It's a great trait when you don't have to use a lot of energy to get around the ice. He has tremendous feet and covers a lot of space and is able to make a lot of plays."
BGSU's Jonathan Sigalet on two PPGs...
"I guess it's the luck of the draw sometimes. On the first one Unger made a great play to me to give me an open net to look at and on the second one Unger was in front of the net and the goalie couldn't see a thing and it just kind of found its way in. That's where Unger does his thing in front of the net."
BGSU's Jordan Sigalet
"We had some huge penalty kills. That 5-on-3 was the difference in the game. Right from the start it was back and forth and it was a close game all the way through. You kind of knew it was going to be that one shot that was going to be the story of the game."
