Cleveland, Ohio - Two members of the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team were named All-MAC today by the league's coaches.
Senior forward Josh Almanson was named first team All-MAC and senior forward John Reimold earned second team recognition.
Almanson, who was named NABC All-District earlier this year, is third in the league in scoring at 17.3 points per game. He is shooting a league-best 59.5% (13th in the nation) from the field and is fourth in the league in free throw percentage (82.0%). He also is ninth in the league in blocked shots (1.0). He is the ninth most improved player in the country in scoring average adding 9.3 points per game to his total from a year ago. He hit a game-winning jumper with six seconds left to give BGSU a 57-56 win over MAC East leader Miami on February 27.

Reimold, who was named Mid-Major All-American by College Insider.com, leads the league in scoring at 18.3 points per game. He also ranks second in the league in field goal percentage (52.8%), and third in three-point field goal percentage (46.1%) and three-point field goals made per game (2.79) and is ninth in free throw percentage (79.8) He is a two-time MAC West Player of the Week selection who averaged 17.9 points per game in league play. He has scored 1,758 points as a collegian (1,356 at BGSU and 402 at Loyola-Maryland as a freshman). He had 38 points in the First Round of the MAC Tournament in BGSU's 75-73 win over Ball State on Monday. That total is the most scored by a Falcon in a MAC Tournament game and was the second highest scoring output in MAC tourney history.
