Falcons Sit In Second After Day One Of All-Ohio Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University track and field team had a great start to the All-Ohio Championships in Columbus, Ohio, recording 21 points on day one, and sit in second of eleven schools. Akron is in first with 40 points, while Miami is tied with the Falcons with 21 points and the host Buckeyes scored 19.
Freshman Stephanie Hillman captured the 10,000-meter crown with a time of 37.24.84 to record 10 points for the Falcons. Elise Gould finished seventh (38:04.36) in the same event for another three points for the track squad.
The Falcons as a team scored eight points on the javelin with sophomore Andrean Bunko placing third (132-04) and junior Alysson Lee placing seventh (108-01).
BGSU will get back to action Saturday morning in the final day of the All-Ohio Championships.
