"This looked like two teams that hadn't played in awhile. For
about the first 15 minutes, but obviously I was pleased with our defense throughout the course of the basketball game. I feel like our team grasps that and wants to be good at it. I thought we were good at it for
everything except the last couple of minutes, fouls continue to be a problem. But overall, I thought we played a pretty good basketball game, got our offense going late in the first half, which was great. At the end of the day, you hold a team to 44 points, that's pretty good."
"This team's morale has been so good even through bad things. Even through a four game losing streak,it has always come to work. ...I remember after we lost, I'm thinking we were going to have a hard practice butthey just come to work. I think they were excited to come to play today, although I think they were rusty, Central was too."
"You want to get that first win, you don't want to wait too long for it. We got it, but for us, it is on to Western Michigan."
"We're not the biggest, not the strongest, but we can play hard and we can compete."
Who did you think stepped it up for you today?
I thought Moon Robinson. I would've played Moon the whole
game. I thought when he came into the game, our energy level picked up and our offense picked up in both halves. I thought he penetrated
the basketball, found and I liked how he played."
"I thought Moon played about as good of a game as a guy can play that didn't score or have very many stats. That is two is a row. Dusan played well the other day without many stats and Moon did today."
