Schultz Joins Keating on Medal Stand in Final Day of MAC Championships

AKRON, Ohio - On the final day of the Mid-American Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, the Orange and Brown earned two additional bronze medals in individual events. Junior Caroline Keating secured her final medal of the competition after placing third in the 1650 Freestyle. The Cincinnati native just edged out teammate Kara Ohngren who placed fourth. Senior Dana Schultz also earned a bronze in the 200 Butterfly. Schultz finished in 2:04.65.
Senior Stephanie Buckner tied for fourth in the 100 Free while the 400 Free Relay team placed sixth. Freshman Alisha Yee's tenth place finish brought BGSU to six Top Ten finishers on the final day.
As a unit, the Falcons ended the three day competition with 390.5 points and were fourth in the field of eight.
