Baseball Game Suspended Due to Rain and Injury

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The remainder of Bowling Green's Friday afternoon contest at Akron has been suspended after a 45-minute rain delay was followed by a collision of two Akron players that resulted in injury.
The Falcons and Zips will resume play in the top of the ninth with the score knotted at 4-4, beginning at 1 PM Saturday afternoon. Game two will immediately follow the completion of the first game.
Complete game recaps for both contests will be available Saturday evening.
